Conference and Parade
Day 3
Oh, What a Night -- and Day
Day 4
Conference Wrap
Day 5
Homeward Bound

The last two conference related activities were a group breakfast and a
visit to Cahokia Mounds. After that, it was all expressway home.
A final day of presentations and an unofficial gathering for pizza brought
the 2024 Miles of Possibility Conference to a close.
A full slate of great presentations, a party in the evening, and a concert
to end the day. Plus I still managed to check out the world's only
Geoscope in the middle of all that.
I found a familiar statue that I had never seen before, caught all of the
conference presenters, and watched an entire parade.
A windy drive on expressways, a visit to a closed museum, and a night at
a deserted motel may sound a little strange but there was pie.
For a long time, I thought I would not make it to this year's
Miles of
Possibility conference, then I thought I might work it in as a side
trip of my PPOO-NOTR trip. In the end, it is being tacked onto the end of
that trip. Although there is no time between the trips, it just makes
sense that it gets its own journal.
