The start of Christmas morning sure was pleasant and it was certainly
warm enough. But I still went looking for something warmer.
In Saint Augustine, I hooked up with a buddy and we did some strolling
while looking for a place to eat. We were pleasantly surprised to find
so many places open but not so pleasantly surprised to find wait times of
an hour or more.
Barefoot Bill's was the first place Dave and I found with open seats but
it turned out to be only because they were closing. We didn't starve,
however, and eventually sat down to a pair of fine Christmas hoagies --
with fries.
Today's background is the tree and fireplace in the Nawrocki's Savannah
vacation house.
