The beginning of another great looking day with John at the wheel.

We arrived in Lisbon, Ohio, today's lunch stop, a little early so checked out the local museums. Among the things learned was that the soda straw was invented here. Lunch was served at the Steel Trolley Diner. Outside the diner, locals made us aware of other local attractions. One of those was this 1923 Stanley Steamer in a one time car dealership about a block north of the Lincoln Highway. The reproduction brick pillar stands beside the Highway in a small park. A sign welcoming the centennial tour is in a store just south of the park.

We stopped in Hanoverton, Ohio, for a stroll past some of the historic buildings and refreshment in the parlor of the Spread Eagle Tavern.

Kishman's IGA in Minerva gave everyone who stopped a cold bottle of water and a souvenir mug. This is a business that has long recognized the Lincoln Highway with a painting hear the gas pumps. Today, there were also classic cars to look at.

Beside the bricks of Baywood Street, a one of a kind Lincoln Highway marker stands in the yard of a supporter. Today, a lemonade stand operated in the driveway.

A stop at the Canton Classic Car Museum was the afternoon highlight. The 1932 Lincoln in the third picture was brought to the museum just yesterday. It will likely be moved out shortly as restoration continues.

We were given coupons at the museum which we traded for ice cream sundaes at Smucker's.
