I followed US-30 a bit to the east then moved onto I-70 at Breezewood.

Just like yesterday, I slipped off of the expressway for breakfast. There was no Predicta TVs or Band Box juke boxes, but there was good food and good service.

Today's goal was to get into position for a busy day tomorrow. I allowed myself plenty of time to do that plus make some serendipitous stops along the way. There weren't any. That meant I reached my target motel too early to check in and had to burn off some time at the Volunteer Brewing Company. Yes, I had another lighter that normal beer. It's Busted Webbing Pale Ale.

Here's my room at the Pleasant Hill Motel. It would have been a bargain at half the price. Actually it was quite adequate and the prices for better grade closer to the target motels were enough to make this place seem rather attractive.

Dinner was at another nearby brewery. That's First State Brewing's Creeping Twilight Dunkel in the glass.
