This picture is from my 2007 Crescent City Christmas road trip. That was my second Christmas Escape Run and I spent a very pleasant Christmas Day in New Orleans, Louisiana. On the way down, I checked out some history in Selma and Montgomery, Alabama, and on the way home connected with road fan Alex Burr in Jackson. Mississippi. Alex rode with me for a few days as we got a decent dose of Delta Blues education. The photograph was taken on Christmas Eve on Royal Street.

I readily confess to this Trip Pic Peek not being random. I wanted something seasonal for the middle of my 2012 Christmas Escape Run and the “Peace Yall” sign has always been one of my favorites.
